This the addition of the Entry way. Its an experiment of how the entry can be raised to capture the guest of the building.

Burning the midnight oils

So here is a little bit more developed product. I added a grain silo to the build as a shear wall. With the elevator on the opposite side. The green houses are lowered to cover the whole face of the building.

The grain silo will have the labs inside of them, extending off the main part of the building.

I also edited the elevated glass structure and aligned it with the East wall.

On my left is the fail attempt at making the pod system half way decent. I have decided to go for a more simplistic idea. To group the pods into a larger entity. By leaving a gap between the units allows light to travel underneath and over reaching further into the greenhouses. The south side wall will be covered in reflective glass. By doing this the light will be reflected back into the plants causing there to be more usable light for the green houses. I also feel that while working in the Green House it will be and interesting effect having the mirror wall at your back, essentially giving the feeling of being in a larger green house while floating in space.

Central Building

Another day in studio. Thought that I should just post some of our drawings so everyone know whats up. Yo, John the pod idea looks really weird in sketch-up so im going to adapt it in another way that feel should be an interesting take on it. Hope CO is going well.
