The following is a couple sketch drawings of the shelving unit I am going to build in my room.
The design is based off of a valley fold. By using wood, wire and hooks I create a shelf that while in use it is pushed apart. Without any books in the shelves it folds back together.
I like that you're incorporating personal projects into your blog as well as the required studio stuff. I think we all like to do things outside of studio but we all stay so busy that it's not very often we get to see what our classmates are interested in. Good work Johnny. I wanna see your shelves when they're done!
